No other difference functionally speaking. Corrupted Power: now in % instead of a flat bonus. Biters pets: now way more resistant to attacks and effects that don't specifically target them. Magnetic Grenade: full rework, it doesn't send enemies flying around (often in your head) but instead pulls them towards the explosion. Crowbar: new crit condition on stunned enemies to make it less awkward too. Barnacle: new crit condition on bleeding or poisoned targets to make it less awkward (and bad). Added a customizable sound priority system, to limit the number of sounds at once. Customize categories of sound effects individually (active, enemies, environment, etc.) Outlines for the Beheaded, Enemies, Skills, Projectiles and Secrets. If two effects synergize with each other, the icons glow. Display effect icons in item descriptions. Display critical strike feedback on the HUD. Display stats icons in addition to their color. Customisable Brutality / Tactic / Survival colors. Customisable HUD transparency and size. Customisable functions for the Left Stick, Right Stick and D-Pad. Auto-hit mode – automatically target nearby enemies with your primary melee weapon. (this effectively already existed by quitting the game when you die, now it's just 'official') Continue mode – each time you die you can resurrect from the beginning of the biome. Other new additions to the game such as the ability to change the font, new difficulty modes, make status icons easier to see, turn off blood, new inputs for certain moves, and customisation for various sound effects. Some of the new options include an Assist Mode, where you can choose how many lives you have (1, 3, 7, or infinite), turn on auto-hit, select an option to reveal the entire map, and adjust the damage you receive.
